Gazan

When I have kids I want to name them with ‘Gaza’ in it. If my husband doesn’t have a specific surname, I want to give ‘Gaza’ as a surname for my children. I am not even married yet, but I already have thought about my kids’ names, inshaa Allah, if Allah gives His permission.

I want my kids to know that their parents give them names that mean the people with the strongest faith that we have today, people who never get defeated by anything, people who actually have ‘freedom’ ’in this shameful world, people who only hope to Allah, people who have the best akhlaq we’ve ever seen. I want my kids to learn about the meaning behind Gaza, what happened to them, and they will fall for it.

I wanna marry someone who loves Palestine from the bottom of his heart, sincerely. Someone who cares about Palestinians, someone who educates himself about the history and what is going on in Palestine, someone who updates his knowledge always. Someone who cares much, shares about it, stands for it, does the boycott, and is consciously aware of his state of mind regarding Palestine. It’s the bare minimum that I put on my mind when I look into the quality of the man I considered marrying. I don’t want him to be ignorant about the freedom of Palestine, that’s so shameful.
